The Centurion Racing Team came to my attention mid way through the 2005 season after I had done a fair amount of work for the Chris Jones Riders Fund. I began to watch the team and their young rider, having worked in the paddock, doing PR and Journalism for the last six years I was impressed with the teams conduct and also the ability Centurions rider was showing.

I approached Paul Rees just prior to the race at Snetterton about starting some PR work for them, to help promote this fantastic little team. It worked well and on each outing their rider was progressing and gained some brilliant results, which I give him and the team all credit for.

It's the behind the scenes scenario that people overlook, the riders have got the backing and support, of what I would say, is one of the most professional and likeable teams in the paddock. They have helped develop the riders and supported them and encouraged them. In 2006 with the rider they were using, they were greeted with some brilliant results, which is a credit to everyone at Centurion for all their hard work and dedication to the sport.

With the new riders for 2007, Dan 'Ferret' Cooper and James 'Westy'
Westmoreland, the team dominated the Supersport Cup again for the 2nd year running with Westy taking the title.

I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best riders in the paddock and Centurion, as a team have certainly fallen into that category. I am looking forward immensely to working with the team during 2009 and seeing the progress of both riders riders for this season, Dan Cooper and Dennis Hobbs.

I would like to congratulate the team as a whole on their success over the last three seasons and hope this success will continue into future years.
